Takeaways
What I learned 💭
Working on this UI Design project showed me that too many tasks or features on screen can cause cognitive overload for users. As a solution, I designed the screens with simplicity and functionality in mind. By prioritizing tasks visually and allowing filtering, it'll help users manage their tasks effortlessly. Additionally, I learned that accessibility is essential and not optional. Designing for all users—including those with disabilities—improves usability for everyone.
Next Steps ✨
Since the bootcamp only focuses on UI Design, my next steps would be to conduct user research, create user personas, and usability testing. This includes identifying target users (e.g., students, professionals, parents), creating personas and journey maps, and conducting surveys or interviews to validate needs. Additionally, gathering feedback and iterating based on insights from real users would be immensely helpful in refining the experience.
